Martin M. Lintner, b. 1972; studied Catholic theology in Innsbruck, Vienna and Rome; 2006-2009 lecturer in Christian social teaching at the Pontifical Theological Faculty Marianum in Rome; since 2009 professor of moral theology at the Philosophical-Theological Academy of Brixen; 2011-2013 vice-president and 2013-2015 president of the European Society for Catholic Theology; 2014-2017 President of the International Network of Societies for Catholic Theology; 2017-2019 President of the International Association for Moral Theology and Social Ethics; Member of the Provincial Ethics Committee of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano-South Tyrol and of the Clinical Ethics Committee of the Tyrol Clinics; Research interests: Fundamental ethics, bioethics and medical ethics; ethics of the animal-human relationship.
